FAQ
What is a roll crimp?
- A roll crimp turns the case mouth into the bullet’s cannelure, locking the bullet in place to prevent movement during recoil or magazine feeding—especially important for heavier-recoiling cartridges like .44 Magnum, .45 ACP, .454 Casull, and the other cartridges in RCBS’s Group B die set series. RCBS also offers taper-crimp options for .357 Magnum, .41 Magnum, and .45 Auto/ACP.
