Will RCBS offer .17 cal and .20 cal pilots? Other sizes like .35 cal?

We hope to expand the pilots available in the future.

Does the MatchMaster trimmer work on straight-wall rifle or pistol cases?

While the MatchMaster trimmer has the appropriate travel length to trim almost any size cartridge, our cutter heads are too short to easily trim pistol brass. We do not currently offer pilots for some popular calibers of straight wall rifle brass, such as .35 or .40.

I don't see my cartridge listed in the collet chart, what collet do I need?

Each collet fits multiple common case rim diameters that relate to the steps inside the collet. For example, Collet #1 fits .379, .473, or .532 Diameters. To select the right fit for your specific brass, measure your case at the rim/head area and choose the collet step that matches best.

Are the MatchMaster trimmer and Henderson trimmer cutter heads interchangeable?

No, the RCBS cutter head's shaft diameter has been updated and cannot be used with Henderson Precision trimmers such as their Gen 3 model.

Can I use the same collets from my Henderson trimmer on the MatchMaster trimmer? What about the pilots?

While the collets are interchangeable between Henderson and RCBS trimmers, the pilots are not.

I have a Henderson trimmer - Can I buy just the RCBS micrometer adjustment?

Currently, the micrometer is not available for separate sale.

How is the MatchMaster trimmer different than the Henderson Gen 3 trimmer?

RCBS's MatchMaster trimmer is built in collaboration with Henderson Precision. The MatchMaster has a few improvements vs the Gen 3, including the micrometer adjustment stop, the cutter head guard, and unique cutter head/pilot size.

Can I use my Trim Pro or other RCBS pilots, collets, or 3-Way cutter heads with the MatchMaster Trimmer?

The MatchMaster cutter heads, pilots and collets are newly designed and unique. So no, older RCBS pilots, collets and cutter heads such as the accessories from the Trim Pro series are not compatible with the new Matchmaster trimmer.
